Interested in joining our Competitive Team?

Students wishing to become a member of the competition team must audition for placement during summer dance classes.

The Dance Station has three competitive team levels: Ruby, Emerald and Sapphire

Class Requirements based on team levels:

Team RUBY: Ballet l, Technique l, and competing groups: jazz and tap

Team EMERALD: Ballet ll, Technique ll, Stretch & Strength, and competing groups: jazz, tap, lyrical

Team SAPPHIRE: Ballet ll, Technique ll, Stretch & Strength, and competing groups: jazz, tap, lyrical

Competition Team will attend TWO mandatory competitions per year in addition to the end of the year recital performance in June.

Classes that are highlighted means the class may be shared with recreational students

Mondays

  • Ballet l: 4:30-5:30PM Ages 5-8

  • Technique l: 5:30-6:15PM Ages 5-8

  • Stretch & Strength: 7:00-8:00PM Ages 9 & up

Tuesdays

  • Sapphire Team Tap: 4:30-5:15PM

  • Ballet ll: 5:15-6:15PM Ages 9 & up

  • Emerald Team Lyrical: 7:00-7:45PM

  • Emerald Team Jazz: 7:45-8:30PM

Wednesdays

  • Emerald Team Tap: 4:30-5:15PM

  • Technique ll: 5:15-6:15PM Ages 9 & up

  • Sapphire Team Lyrical: 7:00-7:45PM

  • Sapphire Team Jazz: 7:45-8:30PM

Thursdays

  • Ruby Team Jazz: 4:00-4:45PM

  • Ruby Team Tap: 4:45-5:30PM

Competitive Solos, Duets, & Trios Available

  • Dancer(s) must be enrolled in ALL of the required team classes (see above)

  • Dancer(s) must have perfect attendance records and a positive attitude

  • Monthly tuition and costume fees must be paid on time

To rehearse and compete solos, duets, or trios, the following criteria must be met:

Solo, Duo and Trio spots are very limited!
