Meet Miss Audrey
Owner, Director, Teacher
Miss Audrey is a professional educator, choreographer and dancer who is a native of Owego, NY, and established The Dance Station in the spring of 2025. She holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Choreography/Performance from SUNY Brockport (2020). In undergraduate school, she attended Wells College (2017) and holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Theatre & Dance and English with a concentration in Creative Writing.
Throughout her studies, Miss Audrey has remained in the dance studio world, teaching at multiple dance studios including Palmyra Macedon Conservatory of Dance (2017-2020) and The Next Jennaration (2020-2022). Miss Audrey has had the pleasure of teaching all ages (recreational and competitive) from children ages three to seniors in high school.
Miss Audrey has also taught dance in higher education for the past six years; five of which were at Wells College (Visiting Assistant Professor of Dance), then SUNY Cortland (Lecturer in Dance) where she began teaching after Wells College’s closure. While teaching at Wells, she received numerous accolades including Excellence in Teaching Award (2023), Award for Excellence (2022) and Outstanding Student Organization Advisor (2021).
Miss Audrey is trained in jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, ballet, musical theatre, stepping, hip hop, partnering and improvisation. If you were to ask her what her favorite style of dance is, she’d say all of them!
Miss Audrey is an OFA graduate of 2014 and is very grateful to establish The Dance Station in a place that’s always been home.
About
The Dance Station
At The Dance Station, we value and view every student the same whether they are a recreational, competitive or adult dancer. It is important to us that every student is met at the technical level they walk in with and then advances their skillsets, musicality, stage presence, flexibility and physical fitness throughout their time with us.
Our goal is to provide top quality dance education and training to all ages and levels while providing a welcoming, friendly, fun and supportive atmosphere. It is important to us that our dancers develop self-confidence and artistic expression so that they may embody and celebrate the most authentic versions of themselves.
We hope you’ll join our dance family!
